The Ozo-Pod® 50 ozone generator, also known as "The Tank Keeper," is an industrial option designed to sanitize tap water in larger amounts than the Ozo-Pod® 10. It's proven to be popular with our customers for ozonating bath water without an overpowering ozone smell.

The easiest way to bathe in ozonated water
The Ozo-Pod® 50 dissolves ozone into warm or cold water, allowing you to bathe in clean ozonated water without the need for external oxygen sources or complicated setups. Because so little ozone escapes the water, you won't be breathing in large amounts of it, for a safer, better bathing experience.
Note: The ozonation process must be done when the person is not in the tub.
How it works
The Ozo-Pod® 50 introduces ozone into the water via nearly microscopic bubbles, using oxygen in the water itself to create the ozone. Because of this, there's no need for tubing, air pumps, or airstones, and much less ozone escapes into the air. You don't have to be concerned about breathing in large amounts, and can be sure the ozone stays in the water to do its job. Once the ozone converts back to oxygen, you're left with oxygen-rich water that can be very helpful in aquaculture and similar situations.
This is a versatile option that is simple to operate, and can be used with warm or cold water.
So why ozone?
It's approved by the USDA and the FDA for use in food processing and purifying drinking water. Ozone is three parts oxygen and is stronger than chlorine without the potential harmful side effects. O3 is very germicidal, but because it's simply activated oxygen, it breaks down into plain O2, while the third atom attaches to harmful contaminates and inactivates them. This means no residue is left behind. Besides targeting bacteria, viruses, microorganisms and other harmful pollutants, ozone also takes care of bad odors and tastes in the water.

Note: This device is meant to ozonate water for the uses indicated above and should not be used with oil. It should not be used with distilled or reverse osmosis water filtration systems.
