Every PurO3 suppository contains 2.6 mL of fully ozonated olive and castor oil. PurO3 ozone suppositories are made with medical oxygen and a cold plasma ozone generator. Cold plasma, or low frequency ozone ensures that no heat enters the oil. High frequency generators can make heat up to 250 degrees that causes the oil to lose some beneficial properties.

Every oil holds a different level of ozone. The amount is determined by the Potential Ozonide Intensity factor. The POI is measured using the amounts of omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids the oil holds. Those with higher omega 9s can hold more ozone. Olive oil is approximately in the middle of the scale.
